Potential Points of Expansion

[edit]

Hello! I've developed this page on Comics Studies as a starting point; there are some terms/people that could be developed into their own individual wikipages, such as: multimodality, Dr. Kristie S. Fleckenstein, Dr. Dale Jacobs, and visual/multimodal literacy heading added to the current "Literacy" wikipage. Let me know what you think of my page so far. I would suggest also including the French. Comics have been considered a higher culture artefact in France longer that it has been in the USA, so their scholarship has a much larger breadth. That is where a lot of the semiotics of comics has been done. 70.119.76.130 (talk) 18:24, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As of this posting, and at least since 2013-06-07, the link to http://www.instituteforcomicsstudies.org directs to an Under Construction page, with no substantive content.Kathon (talk) 16:38, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
